the NM VA in conjunction with Adaptive Adventures will be offering a 3 day cycling program through the NMVAHCS to provide Veterans with another opportunity to learn about adaptive cycling road and off road. This is a 3 day workshop to introduce adaptive cycling to Veterans with disabilities. The goal of this workshop series is to allow participants to participate in cycling independently. Therefore; content will include introduction to riding basics, cycle maintenance, nutrition and fitness combined with local rides both on the VA campus and in the community on surrounding bike paths. There is no cost for you to participate, but you must pre-register. We ask that you plan to attend all days. Each session is approximately 4 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. There is a limited number of spaces available, on a first come first serve bases.
