the NM VA in conjunction with Adaptive Adventures will be offering a 3 day cycling program through the NMVAHCS to provide Veterans with another opportunity to learn about adaptive cycling road and off road. This is a 3 day workshop to introduce adaptive cycling to Veterans with disabilitie s. The goal of this workshop series is to allow participants to particip ate in cycling independently. Therefore\; content will include introductio n to riding basics\, cycle maintenance\, nutrition and fitness combined wi th local rides both on the VA campus and in the community on surrounding b ike paths. There is no cost for you to participate\, but you must pre-regi ster. We ask that you plan to attend all days. Each ses sion is approximately 4 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. There is a limited number of spaces available\, on a first come first ser ve bases.
